The Leica Q3 Monochrom, released in 2025, is the monochrome-only variant of the Q3. Its 60MP CMOS sensor has no color filter array, delivering the highest-resolution native black-and-white output ever made for a fixed-lens compact. It shares the Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens, phase-detect autofocus, and tilting LCD of the Q3. On the used market the Q3 Monochrom is the rarest current-generation Q and commands a substantial premium.
