A quick price guide for the Leica TL, currently for sale, user cameras, not collectables
A quick gut-check for any listing below — condition and accessories shift the line, so always read the listing. Special edition, special finish, and camera plus lens/accessory bundle pricing is not included in the fair price calculation.
The Leica TL, announced in November 2016 at $1,695, is the mid-life update of the Leica T (Typ 701) that opened the L-mount in 2014. It keeps the 16-megapixel APS-C sensor and the unibody shell machined from a single aluminium block and hand-polished, and adds faster autofocus, 32GB of internal memory in place of 16GB, and support for optical stabilisation on SL lenses. It came in black, silver and titanium anodised finishes. Like the T before it and the TL2 after, there is no built-in viewfinder: the camera is run from a 3.7-inch touchscreen, with the Visoflex electronic finder as an accessory. Leica discontinued the APS-C line in February 2022.
