I found an eBay seller manipulation that affects the market liquidity (how long it takes to sell 1/2 the market). I have gated that off and as a result you will notice a shift in the market pace section of the fair price analysis. Most cameras will now show a slower market pace.

Too thin a market (7 active listings) for a reliable fair-price band, so this shows the actual listing history instead — hover a dot for its price, click for the full ad. Condition and accessories shift the line, so always read the listing.

The Leica MD-2, produced from about 1980 to 1987, is the last of Leica's viewfinderless technical M bodies. Based on the M4-2 (catalog 10105), it keeps the no-rangefinder, no-viewfinder layout while adding a hot shoe, with two flash contacts marked M and X, and the modern film transport of its era. It was used for the same scientific, copying, and Visoflex applications as the MD and MDa. Roughly 2,600 units were made. On the used market the MD-2 commands a premium over the MDa as the newest, most capable body in the line, and its hot shoe makes it the easiest to shoot handheld with a finder and scale focus.
